First Aettir- WHOLENESS:
From creative fire,
Underlying persistent strength,
Through the tumultuous chaos,
Establishing the rhythm of a new order:
Riding the wind, grasping the reins,
Carrying the torch of knowledge,
Giving a promise of balance.
Wonderful, the wishes fulfilled
Second Aettir- BALANCE:
Hail may crush you,
Need is overwhelming,
Isolated in the frozen world:
Yet will the year turn.
Reduced to bone, your spine is strong,
Protected by the womb of your people you are reborn.
Shielded by the gods' favours,
Self-worth you find, and conscious strength.
Third Aettir- CHANGE AND DIFFERENCE:
True father of the skies;
Birth giver: mother Earth,
Embrace our human partnerships.
Make all people one people.
Let the tides ebb. Let the tides flow.
Increase and fertility be on the earth
That the land be inherited in good heart
Transformed in the cataclysm of the new day.
